hwachong choir and our alumni presents to you CANTARE! with voices from our hearts!
our concert's going to be held on the 27th may sunday 7.30 at the esplanade concert hall. ticket prices are going at 13,16 and 26.
we'll be singing really cool songs namely jaacobin and also a really cute cactus song! it's damn funny.. you all msut totally learn it. it's the kind of song where you start singing then you either go, ohmygod! so cute!! or you'll just burst into uncontrollable laughter or you will jsut smile non stop! =))))))) shld show you all the scores one day. it's damn funny. i cldnt stop laughing when i was learning it la. like cause it's a german piece. there's this word in it 'erren' ya.. and i started laughing. as in erren sounds like er3 ren2.. and that describes michelle totally. so i just start laughing.

so, i get tickets for you all? =)) haha, i like totally presume tt you all are going to come.

we can all see where this is going.

for the past few years, we have never really improved
we have never really seen her very happy after any of our performances
we have never really done her proud.
she always needs to scream at us before we try to get things improved
just to please her.

we really deserved that scolding, and what we are now.

and if until now, you still do not see truth in her lectures
or you are hating her for droning on and on about attitude
and you think it doesn't apply to you or realise that you are exactly what she has described you to be
then you should just quit.
if all you do is skip sessions just because you have a sore throat
(this doesn't mean you can't be there to listen and learn
sore throats only mess with your THROATS, if you didn't realise)
or even worse, skip sessions because you don't FEEL like going for them
then you should just quit.

why join us at all? we're not a cca for the sake of it.
we're not JUST a cca.
you don't calculate how you can skip 25% of the sessions
so you can still get your attendance points.
you don't come for sessions and participate in activities and concerts
just so you can get points and make your record look good.
if you didn't know already, this cca needs hard work and effort
and most importantly the PASSION.
know what passion is? i seriously doubt so.

other ccas see us as bonded, united, really fun
but i think otherwise.
we are slowly falling apart year after year
and i really don't know what will become of this cca next year.
it's seriously not our problem anymore
people have to take over. they always do.
don't complain if you get DROPPED, because then you will know that you haven't been putting in effort and that you DESERVE to be dropped.
we may play hard sometimes, but we work hard too.
know what this is? it's called commitment.

if you are NOT, then i suggest you do something about it.
don't know what to do about it after ALL the things she has said?
then why don't you start with your conscience.

and if you DO come to your senses, that's good for you.

Omg cherie that sounds awesome :D (like totally! harharhar) Haha it's wonderful, but WHEN, we're all so pressed for time and things are sucking up all our free time like Thirsty Hippos. In december okay hokay we can have a christmas chalet ;D Sounds terribly like our class chalet right cherie gen, but that's alright, that's okay, we shall have one anyway :D YAY I can't wait already!

Why are things so hectic, seriously. 2 million things lined up for us and causing problems. Gen and I need to study for Amaths retest (10 JANUARY, TSK) you guys have some leadership camp thing, we have jobshadowing, then there's the planning of orientation, cca fair, fund-raising?, our conductor's still fuming mad etcetera etcetera, tsk. NO TIME for clique bonding! HOW CAN! When the two nitwits return from china (and they'd better get us something good) we shall plan something whoopee

Oh and clique, please help me keep my resolution for this MONTH: to stop squandering money on food and eating too much. Look at my menu for the past week

Hi clique.

Before I switch off my computer to study chinese (yes I hear cries and gasps of shock) I have something to say. Gen has had her share, now me.

I thought about it these few days, and (oh shit, comma before conjunction) I realised that this can't go on any longer. I don't want to end such a wonderful year with problems within the clique that I love the most and among friends whom we have known since sec one. I don't want all these years of fun we had together to go to waste. May be cheesy, yes, but I don't really care cos I NEED TO STUDY CHINESE AND I AM SERIOUSLY RUNNING OUT OF TIME, BECAUSE MRS TIAN MADE ME DO TRIAL EXAMS YESTERDAY AND I AM THEREFORE DISTRAUGHT WITH STRESS.

Anyway, we have to resolve this soon. We MUST resolve this soon, and we will. I don't care what it takes, I don't care how we are going to do it (I will keep you here all night) but we are going to work it out. I will not celebrate christmas with us feeling awkward, I don't want choir sessions with all of us feeling emotionally far apart even though we are a clique and I most definitely do not want anyone of us to dread choir because of such problems when it used to be so enjoyable. And I'm sure we all don't want that. I'm sure we will find a way to accommodate everyone and make every single person feel included regardless of any factor that we cannot possibly change. We've been through so much, why can't we pull through now, right?

I hate this weirdness among us and how we are always so scared and apprehensive that everything will not turn out alright and that everyone will not be happy. I hate that feeling of paranoia and being deathly afraid of all possible consequences of whatever we do as a clique, or lack thereof. And yeah, like gen I probably shouldn't write it here but I see no other way of telling you all everything, so yepp, can't help it and I don't see anything wrong now that it has come to this.

We shall sort it out. Enough procrastinating. I want the old clique back (except new and improved with more accommodating and considerate mindsets) and will do anything to have the old clique back. (anything of course other than things that would be against my own free will)
