i went to the convention thinking it would suck cos i wont be able to make any friends at all and all the guys would be act cool and disgusting. ok so some guys were disgusting. but my group is super fun!
the first day was quite funny cos one girl, visa, thought i was in poly. she was like asking me whether i was still schooling. haha cos she thought i look very matured! and one of the guys, caichen said i was feminine and wenrou! haha.
job hunt was physical! we went to this provision shop in yishun. i tell you our group always like very suay one. we got the furthest place- yishun. so we had to move all the heavy boxes and all the detergent and stuff and check expiry date for every single item! then we went john little to fold clothes! k la first day not very fun but second day was!
CSI was damn hilarious! we keep making stupid guesses about who's the murderer and their motive. then in the end shawn decided to anyhow put it was an accidental death because the girl forgot she was allergic to panadol. haha.
then we had this super boring talk on some leadership stuff. kaiwei fell asleep but said he was praying. haha. talentime rocked! we prepared everything last minute. it was some cute skit that involved spoilt satellites, micheal jackson, toilet bowls... it's hard to explain. but here's the suay part again. they had to draw lots to see which groups go first. then we were picked last. the reason we went second last was because one group had to wait for their other group member to come. but good things come to those who wait! so we got first (thanks to jinghan one of our facils) and each won a cathay movie ticket. i think we're watching together next week or sth.
the finale was damn nice! all the candles and stuff. and all the failed singapore waves. haha. but it was all very touching and sad at the end of course. then when we were walking to j8 for dinner, michelle (my group one, not the er one in our clique) started singing some sad songs which didn really help.
i love group N-thu! they've really been great, always concern for my sunburn, esp visa. it was quite funny and nice. although our group i think was the smallest cos esther got sick and jason had unfortunate news, we really rocked! and i really think our vanguard sheet was the nicest!
so, slc definately rocked and was tons more than i had expected. of course there were some bad times when i showed i was a klutz by tripping, knocking down stuff, tearing the leaf making all the rice spill out, kicking a curb and spilling stuff. and of course those irritating yzps classmates who think pretending to cough loudly is tons of fun.
hope we get to go next yr! (i just noticed i just typed alot! yay!)
